It’s the beginning of summer and I want to celebrate it with a little monthly competition for all you beautiful souls – just because (and as a thank you!).
Sooooo, without further ado it’s Competition time! 😀
Each month I will pick a name out from a hat (not literally, mind), and the winner will win either a framed original mini painting painted by me or one of the A4 artist proof prints, printed with the finest quality pigment inks. I sign all my paintings and limited edition/artist proof prints and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
I will always let you know the details of the prize one month before via my newsletter as well as here on my blog, so keep your eyes peeled. Every month I will add your name to the draw, so you could be a winner very soon. 🙂
This month’s compeition prize is a framed A6 watercolour, inspired by (and added to) the Four Season’s Collection, see a pic of it in the instagram reel below.
A little story on how I created this collection: Inspired through a very clear vision, which came to me. The vision was clear, to create landscapes depicting different seasons using watercolour paint, whilst using the same technique. The technique was to use the same landscape composition of a tree-scape by a lakeside.
To draw the trees, I used the back of the paintbrush to etch in the tree’s trunk and branches once I was happy with the colours I had blended on the page.
