My mission is to create artwork, which encourages you to think beyond what you see, whilst on the surface you see a colourful and joyful image, but when you delve deeper into the brushstrokes and swirls of paint you will see a story unravelling or even a message to inspire you, your family and friends. Nothing is as it seems in this world we live in, I hope my artworks spark your curiosity as you allow a little escapism to fuel philosophical thinking. Be you, in a world where we’re expected to ‘fit-in’.

About my paintings:

Questions I ponder: What parameters surrounds us? In essence, what makes up our identities? Why are we expected to conform? What makes us unique? These questions prompt me to highlight a different way of being, seeing. One where individuality is key. To do this, I believe that by bridging the gap between abstract and figurative art, and through creating alternative worlds where nothing is as it seems, is key. Where the ordinary morphs into otherworldly with expressionistic and surreal brushstrokes. I believe this will bring a new way to be curious and explore freely. So, I invite you to be you, in a world where we’re expected to fit in.

Most of my paintings are signed and dated on the back. If you wish to have it signed on the front as well, just let me know and I will do my best to do so before I ship the painting.

Further Details

How will the artwork look in my home/office? If you would like to see how this painting would look like on your wall, send me a photo of your wall or room that you would like to hang the artwork and I will send you an image with the artwork on your wall. It will work best if your photo has good light and is taken from a straight-on viewpoint. Please take two photos, one of the wall only, the second with the addition of an A4 sized paper against the wall – this will help me understand the size of the wall/room.

As a full-time emerging artist, I want my art to be accessible to all art lovers and collectors. For this reason, alongside original artworks, I have put together a collection of both open edition prints AND/OR limited edition prints for you to buy. 

Fine Art & Photographic Giclée Printing

Open edition prints will be limited to print sizes A4 and below and will be solely printed on Hahnemühle Agave Eco Fine Art Paper. It will also be available on greeting cards and some surface design.
Limited edition prints will be printed on weighted and textured Hahnemühle Fine Art Papers as well as on canvas. These will be available in limited quantities and on sizes A3 and larger. With certain collections, I will only release Limited edition prints, no open editions will be available unless specifically disclosed for a particular artwork. Some limited editions will be available as Aluminium Dibond and Acrylic Glass. Full details will be published with the artwork and on the Certificate of Authenticity.

Using the latest software and industry leading printers and have decades of experience and expertise in-house. Each print comes with Certificate of Authenticity and are signed by the artist.

·  Returns

If you are not happy with your purchase of your print, you may return it within 14 days for a refund of the price of the product excluding the postage and packaging price, you must pay for the return postage. Refunds will be issued when the piece, including the Certificate of Authenticity, is received by the artist.

·  Copyright of Images

Unless otherwise agreed, Ozlem Yikici retains all rights to the images she has created. Unlawful use of images is infringement of copyright and will face prosecution.

·  Delivery

You will receive the artwork by Royal Mail Signed For or by Courier service. Allow for up to four weeks for delivery within the UK. Please enquire for International Shipping rates and times.
